Who can enter the R&R 237 Talent Series competitions?
Anyone who is a Cameroonian citizen or legal resident is eligible to participate in the R&R 237 Talent Series, as long as they meet the age requirements for their chosen competition category. Bounce Jam 237 (dance) is open to participants aged 9 to 30, Vocal Vibes 237 (singing) welcomes individuals aged 9 to 35, Laugh Out Loud 237 (comedy) is for adults aged 18 and above, and The Djoka Show (multitalent) is open to anyone aged 13 or older. Participants must ensure they fall within the specified age bracket for the competition they wish to enter.
How do I submit my video?
Simply complete the submission form on this page and upload your video file. You can also send your video via WhatsApp to +237 679 154 674, but completing the form is required to be considered.
What should I say at the start of my video?
“I’m [Your Name] from [Your City] for #[ShowHashtag]”
Example: “I’m Amina from Douala for #BounceJam237”
What are the accepted video formats?
We accept .mp4, .mov, or .avi video files. Your video should be:
Bounce Jam 237 (Dance): 60 seconds (vertical preferred)
Vocal Vibes 237 (Singing): 90 seconds
Laugh Out Loud 237 (Comedy): 60 seconds skit or 3 minutes stand-up
Ndjjoka Show: 60-120 seconds (any talent)
What happens after I submit my video?
After submission:
Your video will be reviewed by our team.
It will be posted on R&R 237’s official social media platforms.
You’ll receive a direct link to share with friends and family.
Public votes (likes + views) will count toward your score.
Shortlisted finalists will be invited for live studio showcases and TV performances.
Do I need parental permission if I’m under 18?
Yes. If you are under 18, you must upload a signed parental consent form with your submission. The form can be downloaded from the Legal Forms section.
Can I submit to more than one category?
Yes, but you must submit a separate video for each category and complete the form for each submission. Duplicate or generic entries will be disqualified.

How are winners selected?
Selection is based on a combination of:

Videos are evaluated based on the number of likes (40%), views (30%), shares and comments (15%), and compliance with submission guidelines (15%). Only interactions on official R&R 237 pages are counted, and all entries are reviewed for authenticity to prevent manipulation through fake accounts or bots.
In the second stage, shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in studio-recorded qualifiers or live televised finales. During these performances, winners are selected based on a balanced scoring system: judges’ scores carry 40% of the total weight, while both live audience engagement and real-time SMS or online voting each contribute 30%. This ensures that final winners are chosen not only for their popularity but also for their talent, creativity, and stage presence.
